“I have been imagining the things that are here, and will be here, for more years than I’ll admit. Mothering & a day job require a lot of effort and I have finally figured out how to do them all.
To me this array of created things are of one kind—a sort of blended style I like to think of as “Storybook Nouveau”. If that phrase speaks to you, please come in and join our ‘salon’…. Welcome to a cheerful place where I will share the things I have seen, read, created, written onto post-it notes, sketched in the dozens of small journals—knowing that they must be shared with like-minded Souls who don’t pursue as many magazines, blogs & shoppes as I do…. It’s reliving the joy of finding a treasure all over again when someone else delights in it! And naturally, any like-delights you care to share will be treasured too!!
Currently, and as this endeavor unfolds, you’ll find eye candy including dolls; tiny figures; faeries; tiny scenes; scenes to ‘build’; tiny gifts and larger gifts; wall hangings; ever-lasting bakery creations (plaster, paint & ribbons) {that my friends & family howl at because I don’t know what to do in a kitchen except clean paint brushes}; tiny tuffets and many more things the Renaissance Spirit knows are essential to well-being.
My Sons call our home “a 3 bedroom faerie factory” urging me to not just give away my creations but sell them too. I also want to offer kindred crafters the small how-to booklets to guide you in making the item yourself, your way. Only a few of these PDFs are ready for prime time but many, many more will be available in the coming weeks & months.
Also planned for early 2010 are more gift baskets for nurturing children’s imagination; a FACEBOOK community; a FLICKR gallery; kits for several of these
