Play is Sacred Work

There is a  widely believed, but harmfully false idea circulating that only little ones need to play, or are allowed to play.  We devotees of rich and full lives know the truth and once in a while take the time to address this mistaken belief.  But more often we are shamelessly chasing this birth-right!

Linger here and you will find idea after idea for reclaiming and rejoicing in PLAY!

You are right about adults needing to take time and play. That’s what I say when my husband calls from work to check in with me. He’ll ask what I am in to and I will say …Oh , I am playing with a craft or whatever . That makes him happy.

You are so right. Playing is such a healthy habit for adults and children alike. May we all remain children at heart, always!
