We listened to kind others who would read a story to us; we made up stories as we played with friends and freely editted those from our yesterdays because each new day was a whole new beginning.

Soon after my realization that a blank piece of paper has infinite possibilities, I realized that fabric was even more infinite (?!) in its possibilities because it drapes, folds, scrunches, etc, etc. My love affair with fabric has lasted since my mother enrolled me in a sewing class at age 10 and it has matured wiht each decade.
I have many ideas to share with seasoned fabric artists and hope they spark imaginations!

Most of us have never given much thought to faeries. We just automatically think faeries do not exist and the myth is child’s play. I personally have suspended such a weighty decision and focus on a much more rewarding aspect of the issue: I have been devoting effort to designing “gifts” that a faerie would leave to provoke a burst of delight, a flash of silliness or a surprising glimpse of merriment! Don’t we all need more of these vitamins?
